The Walker County Chamber of Commerce is proud to offer the Mary Frances Park Memorial Scholarship to graduating high school students who are planning to continue their education.
This scholarship is designed to support students who show strong work ethic, leadership, and a commitment to their community.
Who Can Apply
Students who:
- Are graduating high school seniors
- Plan to attend a college, university, or trade program
- Live in or attend school in Walker County
- Show involvement in work, school, or community activities
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for students who:
- Work hard and stay committed
- Give back to their community
- Show responsibility and strong character
- Have a clear plan for their future
What You Will Need
Before starting your application, please have the following ready:
- Completed application form
- 500 word essay (Leadership, Integrity, or Community)
- High school transcript
- Two letters of recommendation
- Optional activity resume

Selection Process

- Academic readiness
- Recommendations
Selected recipients will be notified after the review process is complete.
